The new potions and imbuing makes the game a whole lot more fun. I love this server because it's been up for so long and if I am going to play it will surely be somewhere that I know my time isn't just wasted... However - I don't much like playing below 10.98. This might also help attract new players  | |

Assuming he did though I’d expect that he asks all the commonly online players before committing to anything. I also think in regards to a reset... It would probably drive the handful of loyal fans away and would also take away the number one reason a lot of people play which is the knowledge all the time you spent on the server will not be wiped away every few months. Lastly, the exp gain isn’t that fast, most of the high levels took nearly a year to get where they are and there aren’t any custom spawns so exp is capped in a way. | |

Also if what you're looking for is team play then you chose the worst class to go main with, an ED would have been the golden ticket. | |

I've read the forums here on this server before without posting and I have never seen you post a single thing that has anything to do with the community or growing it. You don't really feel the need to have a large community on the OT that you play; however, most people do. I do. I think that Dark'shotter does. Not to mention as the owner of this server - Zeal is certainly not trying to cater to you and you alone. Secondly - you have no knowledge of OT servers or how they work if you think that a reset is required to upgrade the map. OT servers use MySQL databases to store character information and do not need to be modified at all to upgrade the map. In fact - upgrading the map and the few LUA changes isn't very difficult at all. It could likely be done in someone's spare time within week. So don't try to flame someone's opinion just because it doesn't cater EXACTLY to what you want. Lastly - A reset would actually probably be the best thing that could happen to this if it is upgraded to 10.99. I've got four level 400 characters with tons of equipment and houses and I would very much be willing to give that up and start over if we can upgrade and bring more people to the server. It's just absolutely no fun playing by yourself. Most importantly - however - is that I do not want to invest time in any other server for fear that it might shutdown in a month or two. Here on Zeal - I don't even have to think about it even in the slightest. I'm just saying... If you want the server to come alive again - an upgrade of the client, a reset, and adjustments to how difficult it is to complete certain quests to get to certain areas, use specific NPCs, etc. is an extremely good place to start. I love this server and I just want to play here - but I don't see the point if I am nearly always playing by myself. | |

You’re talking garbage, I’ve helped everyone I could who has ever joined this server during my time on it and unlike you I actually play and know a lot of active players. Perhaps I cannot speak for them but I know that myself and Liz have both spent considerable amounts of time on this OT and hopefully have a little more say than someone who practically MC bots 4 chars at the same time and has been retired for the entire time I’ve been on the server. If you search the forums you’ll find plenty of posts in which I stated the difficulty in the server due to lack of people, I haven’t done half the quests as a consequence, either you’re blind or you just spouting garbage. That's not to mention numerous conversations with a Zeal and my gripes, all I do is complain about wanting to improve the server and I’m sure Zeal hates me for it. I already know the response Zeal will give to your suggestion because I already asked, he doesn’t have the time anymore. You clearly cannot read if you assume I meant an upgrade meant resetting the server. Dark suggest resetting the server as an unrelated topic and I said it shouldn’t be done without consultation 'agree, also a reset coulb be good in other that new players come in the server'. And as for bitching at me for what Zeal cannot do, it's a nice touch, don't forget that it’s not me who doesn’t have the time to make changes. How about you message Zeal and tell him how easy it is and how he doesn’t have to spend so much time changing things in the server. Surrendering a botted character is hardly sacrifice, I haven’t bot hunted a single exp on my MS and can honestly state every hour spent on him has been my investment that I enjoyed for the most part. If the general population do decide to reset the server I’m ok with that but I don’t think quitters should get a say or at least not as much as active players. You’re the problem not the help you seem to think you are, sure the server can seem a little stale but at least a handful of us kept at it and tried to improve it instead of bailing out and complaining about it. P.S - Even though you assume I’m completely against your idea I’m not, I’d love to see Zeal upgrade to 10.99 and even a reset wouldn’t bother me but I already know Zeal’s response, I've asked before and wish he had the time, however if he doesn’t then we just have to accept Zeal as it is or just find another OT that fits your needs. | |
