| Zeal Profession: Knight Level: 71157 Posts: 169 | I'm not sure but this doesn't sound incorrect. With a promotion and full blessings you will lose 2% of your total number of skill tries. Because the number of skill tries for the next skill level raises exponentially, if you have a large skill level, you will lose more of it on death. Levels work the same way, but skill tries for next skill level actually increases faster. And due to offline training, you're going to typically be at a much higher level of skill then your character level. In short, it appears you are losing a lot of skill on death compared to EXP because your skill level is much more "impressive" than your EXP relatively. |
