| Destruction Profession: Master Sorcerer Level: 1550 Posts: 90 | Gold to mana Hi Zeal, I suggest that we get an NPC that we can trade our relatively useless gold stacks into magic experience. There are 2 main reason for my suggestion, 1)Magic is a pain in the arse to train unless you use a macro(4% exp gain an hour when constantly spamming at around 118 magic). 2)There isn't anywhere that we can spend our hard earned cash(My bank is at around 50mil right now and I've not even being hording, it's just naturally grown to be this way due to no appropriate way to spend it). So you might suggest that we could use it all on supplies but... I'm sure that people never really waste during hunts so we always bring home a profit. I believe that by allowing us to directly buy magic experience from an NPC using gold(At a far more expensive rate due to convenience) we have a method to burn our banks away and also avoid a tediously long grind if we want to hit our next magic level. Here are the calculations:(Gold cost/average mana gained) 1 MP = 50/100 1 SMP = 80/150 1 GMP = 120/200 So on average the cheapest you can get 1 mana for is 0.5 gold, the most expensive being 1 mana for 0.6 gold. I think that the ideal exchange rate should be roughly 1/1 as that is a 40% increase on even the most expensive potion conversion and would be an ideal price to pay for taking a shortcut. I know that you may suggest that it's open to abuse but I don't think this will ever be the case as the mana required to get from 119-120 magic is around 6mil(extreme example), this isn't an amount you can just gain over a weekend and i'm certain that people will not just blow their entire fortune on magic training or if they do then it'll slow down at around 100 due to the sheer cost involved. Lastly, I'm not sure whether this can be adapted into any of the other skills as it seems a little more complex than having to spend a certain amount of mana to attain a level.
